If you’re interested in design, culture economy and how contemporary arts link to the entrepreneural world, you may like this free magazine periodically issued by Illy, the Italian coffee company. Illywords is in Italian and English (eventhough the translation is not always brilliant), and subscription is free, worldwide.
The editorial style is very nice and each issue is illustrated with images by students from schools of art and design throughout the world, who turn the magazine into their own laboratory of personal and collective creativity. Each issue has a theme, the one I just got is about “innovage”, an hybrid neologism that put together innovation and vintage. The magazines features interviews and essays with well know artists-critics-cultural agents. And it’s free! To get it follow this link if you live in Italy, or this if you live outside of Italy.
